We've spent this series looking beneath the surface—past behavior, past words, past the thoughts we can easily identify—and asking a deeper question:
What's happening in the heart?
Jesus repeatedly taught that what comes out of us originates within us.
"For out of the heart come evil thoughts..." — Matthew 15:19
And He tells us that:
"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." — Matthew 12:34
So what does that mean when Scripture tells us to renew our minds?
It means we can't simply try to manage our thoughts.
We can't just replace negative thoughts with positive ones.
We can't continually correct the fruit while ignoring the root.
If we want our thoughts renewed, we have to surrender our heart.
Because the heart is where our desires, motives, beliefs, loves, and deepest thoughts are formed.
This week, we're going deeper than surface-level Christianity and asking some honest questions:
What am I really thinking about?
What is underneath those thoughts?
What do my thoughts reveal about what my heart loves?
What am I holding onto that I haven't surrendered to the Lord?
This conversation is about heart surrender, mind renewal, and the transformation that happens when we allow God into the deepest places within us.

What does it really mean to "die daily"? Is it simply enduring hardship, or is Jesus calling us to something much deeper? In this episode of Come to the Table, we explore how true discipleship begins with the heart. Looking at Jesus' teaching in Mark 7 alongside His words throughout the Gospels, we'll discover that the greatest battle isn't against outward behavior—it's against the hidden attitudes, desires, and motives within us. Join us as we learn how daily surrender transforms our hearts, allowing the life of Christ to be formed in us from the inside out.

In this episode of Come to the Table, we take a fresh look at the Parable of the Sower in Mark 4:13–20. What if this parable isn't primarily about four different kinds of people, but about what happens to the Word of God once it is planted in our hearts? Together, we'll explore why Satan immediately comes for the Word, why shallow roots can't withstand pressure, how the thorns of life's distractions can choke the Word, and what it truly means to become good soil that bears lasting fruit. This is an invitation to examine not just how we hear God's Word, but how we receive it, protect it, and allow it to produce a harvest in every season.

Many believers pray for the "new wine" of God's presence, power, and purpose, but in Mark 2:19–22, Jesus places the emphasis on something else—the wineskin. In this episode, we'll explore what the old and new wineskins represent, why God is more concerned with forming our hearts than simply giving us new experiences, and how discipleship prepares us to faithfully carry what He desires to pour out. Discover why spiritual formation always precedes spiritual filling, and learn how to remain soft, surrendered, and ready for the work of the Holy Spirit.

So did the disciples.
Today we’re gonna journey through John chapter 20 when Jesus shows up to the disciples after they’ve walked themselves up after fear. And today I’m leaving for a healing from that fear and from that locked up because Jesus still has an assignment for us to do.

In a world filled with opinions, trends, teachings, and competing voices, how do we know what's true? This week on Come to the Table, we dive into the example of the Bereans in Acts 17 and uncover a simple but powerful blueprint for biblical discernment. They didn't blindly accept every message, nor did they automatically reject what they heard. Instead, they received the word with eagerness and examined the Scriptures daily to see if it was true.
Join us as we explore what it means to test every spirit, search the Scriptures for ourselves, and become believers who are rooted in God's Word rather than tossed about by every wind of doctrine. The Bereans show us that discernment isn't about being cynical—it's about being grounded in truth.
